Cool news for Idahoans....

Geoff Baker, a Boise area mountain biker hatched the idea of creating a mountain bike license plate to raise money for new trails, trail maintenance, bridges, kiosks, trailhead facilities and more. After rounding up bipartisan support in the GOP-dominant state, the mountain bike license plate bill sailed through the Idaho Legislature and was signed by Gov. Otter. It will be the first mountain biking-themed vehicle license plate in the United States. The plate will be available for sale in early 2011.
